[Beta] Configuration Manager

Mit dem Configuration Manager kannst du Konfigurationen konstruieren, speichern und verwalten. Zudem wird der maximale Schaden und das maximale Schild berechnet, welches mit dieser Konfiguration erreicht werden kann.
Kommende Features werden u.A. ein Downloadcenter für Konfigurationen sowie ein Simulator für Konfigurationen sein. Der Simulator wird die genauso viele Möglichkeiten bieten wie Darkorbit selber. Er wird die originalen mathematischen Funktionen von Darkorbit benutzen welche ich nach einer Arbeit und Gesprächen mit einem Mathematiker herausgefunden habe.


With the Configuration Manager you can create, save and organize configurations. Additionally you can read the maximum damage and the maximum shield you can reach with that configuration. Coming features will be a downloadcenter for configurations and a simulator. The simulator will offer you as many possibillities as the real darkorbit game does. It will use the original maths from Darkorbit which I found out after some work and talks to a mathematician.

PS: As you know I usually publish finished tools. With this I want to help you and want to come near to the needs of the users. Many wished a new and up to date version of my old configuration manager and I will step by step give you that to satisfy you. i decided for that partly release method with updates for the different features to include you, the user, into the development. So please post ideas and bugs. Thank you

What about the dmg/shield with seprom upgrade?

Yes. The updates. I thought about that and came to following conclusion:
In the interface to create a configuration the intresting thing to compare is how much damage you can get maximum. In a real fight you will never reach that. I saw the calculations and it´s party very confusing how it is calculated. The chance to reach the maximum damage gets lower if your damage is high and such things. So I thought all those features influencing the damage you do in the end (with RSB you make in averge 30k less than you can do in maximum as i have numbers correctly in my head) will be only included in the fight simulator. By the way: If it works like I planed, than you will be able to fly around in the simulator as well, so it will be real visible and not just numbers going down after a while like in old versions :P

A bug: I can't put a lf4 in every drone, even if the drone is empty it gives me this error: " You already have 2 items in your iris"

Hm. Have you selected Iris on the dropdown menu? If yes then you can add 2 items, either a laser or shield. Then you have to press the "Add drone" Button.
So you fill your drone with items before you add it to ship. If the error still appears a screenshot might help me to analyse the problem better.

Ah ok, I didn't know it only worked that way, what I tried is just put all the drones in ship, and after that select them 1 by 1 and put the lasers in it, but then it gave me that error about it's full while it's actually empty
