Let me explain the new ban system

A lot of people have been saying that account that have been botted to weeks straight are not banned & accounts that you've never botted on are banned or accounts that have only been botting for about 12 hours or so are, Here I will explain the new ban system in the simplest way:

1st time caught botting = 72 Hours ban on all accounts that are linked to the account that was caught botting.

Now, this means if you had lets say 4 accounts on the same IP & one was caught botting, all accounts that had the same IP listed as the one that was banned are now all ban.
But lets also say one of those accounts you have not logged in it for 2 weeks or more, that account is not banned because once an account is inactive for 2 weeks straight all logs of the account are cleared, from IPs of the user who logged in to logs of alien kills even if you have botted that same account but had been inactive on it for 2 weeks, it will not be banned.

2nd time caught botting = Permanent ban on all accounts that are linked to the one caught botting.

The rule for the first time caught botting applies also to the second time caught botting, so if any accounts that are linked with the same IP as the one who got banned then they will also get banned. They will be perma banned as well but if the account again has not been active for 2 weeks & all logs are cleared then it is safe! This happend to me, 2 accounts were banned, one botted, another never botted but another that had not been played for more than 2 weeks and all its logs were cleared was still good & usable.

Hope this clears up any questions about how the new bot ban stage system works.

EDIT: Btw, i believe the new UI will be added around the next server restarts today, not totally sure.

But if i am caught using bot and banned for 72 hours...and after it i stay inactibe for two weeks...the ban stage restart from 0 or not?
Example: caught botting and banned 72 hours...after it i stay inactive for two weeks...then i restart botting. Re caught...permabanned or 72 hours?

NO, if you are inactive you 2 weeks after being banned for botting for 72 hours, it does not reset the ban stage because you are already listed as a know botter in their stage "ban list".Only thing you'l get for being inactive 2 weeks gets you is you get your log cleared along with your "IP Log".

As we announced on the 11th of June, we are redoubling our efforts against bots and would like to take some time again to keep you updated on our next steps.

While we have already put processes in place that complicate the work of the bot developers, the most pressing matter on everyone’s mind is probably the question what will happen to the bots in the game.

Now before I elaborate on this, I would like to explain what our current plans are based on. We believe that there are basically 2 kinds of players that use bots; the ‘malicious’ ones and the ‘opportunists’. The malicious botters have no interest in the game itself and bot or grief simply for the benefit of trolling other players or selling off the botted accounts. Those players are next to impossible to convert from their ways and will quickly be removed from the game.

The opportunists, however, are the players that feel somewhat forced to use bots, either because ‘everybody else does it’ or because they think they need to bot in order to keep up with other clan members or the end-game PvP. We want these players to understand that botting has serious consequences for the survivability of the game, and thus their botting cannot be allowed to continue. In short, using a bot is putting your account at great risk.

Taking this into consideration we have decided on a simple and straight forward 2-stage system to penalize bot users. Bot detection will run permanently and on a regular basis put detected players into the next stage.

In the first stage we are applying a 72 hour suspension to all accounts of those users (on all instances), informing them that they have received a final warning for bot use and the ultimate consequences of this. After the suspension has run out they can continue to play regularly. Should they then ever be detected again, they will be put into stage 2. To keep it to the point, stage 2 is a ban for all accounts on all instances – no ifs and buts, just gone. We are 100% confident about the detection methods we use and since stage 1 constitutes the final warning, there will be no opportunity for further discussion at this point.

By using this method our declared goal is not to remove as many players as possible from the game but to ensure the integrity of fair play and proper conduct and empower the majority users that uphold those standards.

Once again, we are looking forward to your feedback on these plans and would like to thank you for your continued support. We will activate our new detection system in the next few days.

I think they mean banning all acounts from that server, not from IP.

For example if I use same network as my neighbour wouldnt be that a stupid idea?
