It is evident to you, but not for the program. It is possible that the bot does not detect your ship properly if something disturbs the "visibility". Sometimes it happens that bot "catch" ship next to your. Fly in an empty space and press Tab again.

Is your ship cloaked? Do you have a shields on the first config?

I am at the bottom of pala not cloaked not in the mist nothing around me only my ship.I turned drones off, it said the same when they where on.
