To be serious with you, People who manage the support was not Include in ''Bigpoint Workers'' , They are choose by a BA .. some trust moderators and CM ..
If the problem was ''important'' can be directly answer by the Community Manager, when it's needed. Or if you demanding it ..
Maybe not their company .. If you want to take it like a Troll, you can, i will not be angry .
Who are you ? It's because a game is closed that they don't have any right on it ?
A copyright can be available way over 15 years and more ! C'mon if you want to be the lawyer of JD, you can , lol .. It's not me that will attack a Multi-Billionnary Company for a private server that will open 6 months ..
its depend on the regulation on law of the country i think. I have heard once JD say , if the client is not use anymore by the owner , they has no copyright on it.

Just for all of you out there wondering about how the system will work regarding uridium and also some issues with copyright.
The server will be free to play. This means absolutely NO in-game currency or "packages" will be available for purchase with real money. I am thinking of a way to offer premium, and I think I will make it available for uridium (eg. you buy a month of premium with X amount of uri). This is to limit the amount of copyright infringing actions I would be committing, as in the eyes of the law, selling copyrighted material is a much bigger deal than distributing it for free. That being said, almost 50% of the files used in this version are non-existing in the current version of DarkOrbit. Also, per Australian law, copyright is only held for a certain amount of years after a product/item is discontinued. I want to work with BigPoint regarding copyright in the future, and whilst I won't be handing over operation to them, it would be nice to be able to run the server with their permission where we get to decide what happens under the proviso that BigPoint are happy with it (my only issue I beleive that bigpoint would have is making sure our version of the game doesn't give theirs a bad name or reputation).
Alien rewards are most likely going to stay the same, whilst Uridium items will most likely scaled down in pricing to make it easier to obtain them.
Just to make it clear, I am in no way laughing at bigpoint, or rubbing this in their face. I do not want to make this look like I am doing it to annoy them and given the opportunity would love to make this work with them (obtaining copyright permissions etc.). Any Bigpoint employee reading this is free to contact me on my skype which can be found under my profile to the left.
from what date will it be? because if it has lf4 and havocs and ****, it's a lot less fun.
Bigpoint screwed up there, so please don't put to many of the darkorbit updates in it.
Omg... In UW they used the old client... It get deleted from the BP server and never used... Specially when you watch in to there... You see how long the Copyright will be there...
Do you really think -jD would develop it if he could get big troubles?
are you sure?
