JP Battle
As you know, it's pretty hard earning uridium, right? I was thinking, what if made the jackpot's battle rewards uridium instead of cash?
Better Quest Rewards
Better quest rewards, as in earning much more and earning ships/weapons/etc
PVP Battle
Another idea, similar to TDM (team death match), but instead it ranges from 5v5, 4v4, 3v3, 2v2, or 1v1. There should be a gate that's open on certain days, and players come to fight to earn rewards like credits, uridium, ships, weapons, etc.
Better Cargo Boxes
You know.. Because every single ship in Dark Orbit is into mining. Lets put something inside of it, like weapons or some stuff like that.
BLUE PRINTS!
I had this idea so many times, but the sh-theads of BigPoint always turns it down. You can get blueprints for weapons, ships, and many more by salvaging it from cargo boxes (NOT PIRATE BOOTY). The better and more valuable the item is, the more parts and rarity it take to build it.
Yeah, these are my ideas. Some ways of making Dark Orbit actually fun and challenging.

JP Battle, really nice idea i want it too
PvP Battle 5vs5,4vs4,3vs3,2vs2,1vs1 on EVENTS nice idea
Better Cargo Boxes, yeah would be nice.
Blue Prints, sorry but this is ****, dont want to collect a half year like in Do...
However revenue for such a game could be obtained from PPC. For example: input a banner at the login stage which the player has to click in order to get say, an EMP, or something. By click-ing the site get's 0.05 $ for that click. Maybe less, maybe more. Also you could allow players to choose if they want something more challenging, like a survey. And things can go on....

APIS was added in 2010? i don't remember. but i think apis was added in a version jD is not using.
All I need is:
- lots of uri
- PvP
- bunch of friends
That's all to have fun
Yea, true... But also the uridium making was a lot of fun before, I still remember about our clan, we were always killing Sibelons for that **** 200 sibs quest, when mine was done, there came another member which was needed to do the quest Just simply because it gave you 6k uridium (!) It was so f*cking awesome! Such a lot of uridium and credits from that one longtaking quest lols
