lol i know that all the DO encryption is not in one packet but please tell us more about it, or answer my PM. You dont loose anything for just explain something, anyway there are not many people that can make a tool to DO, i mean the real Game..
Does it mean that these packets point to where the passkey is ?
I`m sorry, it's just very hard to understand all the decompiled code and witch packets are crypted and which ain't. And i saw you posted something about Little and Big Endians somewhere in another thread.
Edit: I understand the thing about endians, but how do we tell wether the data comes the right or the reversed way? Thanks.

There also was a nice tutorial on packet analyzing, check in the "tutorials" section.
You are asking a question the key to which most of bot programs rely their business upon.
Why would anyone disclose such intellectual property that could drive more competition and possibly harm your own business, that is if DO is paying attention to any of these threads for clues as to how bot programmers write their stuff?

yeah . . . I agree but whats wrong if we get some clue about packet encryption may tomorrow we can come up with a free bot
I would release more information, but as said above, it helps prevent "free" stuff that even tho may be no competition to us as it has less features, it draws more and more attention from Bigpoint towards the botting community if there are such "free" bots. The reason we are doing so well is that there really is no easily obtainable free bot out there, so it isn't a major issue for them. However if every tom, **** and harry could bot, then they would need to stop us more

It also prevents competition, sure :P

Than may be u can write reference for c# with protocol solution and just give us protected dll with documentation???
im new and its like i read chinise how everyone start all this i need a tutorial like what program should i learn or something if anyone can tell me what you use to create a packet bot for example c++ something like that?
BOI Packet Encryption 09/28/2011 - Battle of the Immortals - 13 Replies I've made some research about the packet encryption used in this game and I thought I'd share them.
BOI uses a simple XOR-Algorithm. Each byte of a packet is being XORed with the value of the previous byte. The first byte of every packet indicates its length. Furthermore the first byte of the very first packet sent after the connection was established is being XORed with the value 0xCD.
Example:
Let's say the client sends this packet right after connecting to the server.

Packet encryption. 06/22/2009 - Shaiya - 2 Replies Not sure if anyone has tried making a proxy yet, other than the one that is stickied (which is injected and I imagine directly hooks the games send function bypassing the need for encryption?).
Anyway, just curious if anyone knows what sort of encryption is being used on packets?

keke wireshark angeschmissen...
Packet encryption 09/19/2005 - Lineage 2 - 1 Replies Hi,I'm trying to make a simple L2 bot, but i got stuck in begginning - in the packet encryption. I rewrote the l2j login thread sources (those about encryption) but it doesn't work. Has anyone any description of L2 packet encryption. And second question - what Init packet (server packet,nr. 0) means? I guess that it something related with encryption, but in l2j sources that packet content is hardcoded.
Thanks for replies (if any ;) )
