I already said, I'm not new to hacking or reverse-engineering.
I already experienced this kind of stuff before: never said I've wrote my disassembler in one day.
The fact is that, when I write my apps, I always try to build a sort of re-utilisable framework, than just a simple app composed of only one class to be more rapid... U.U
And at the end of all this, what is point of it? What it will give to users?
8 Pages of discussion about showing off what you know and how you done it, nothing concrete. If someone want to know how you done it and what you can do, give them a way to contact you. And if you are willing to post something, post something useful and working for community not just words and bla bla..

That's the point: a community cannot grow simply with "clicks".
The issue is, its so complex that if you don't understand that, then we will be explaining everything WE have learnt along the way... BIG JOB!

Me and a mate already have a Private Server up and running, I'd be happy to discuss maybe you coming onboard? We could do with some spare hands optimizing everything. Currently it handles around 100 connections with a response time of around 30ms running on a Core i5... we can push it tho with some optimized RAM timings... what do you think? Ill chat later on skype with you.

Would be happy to discuss about that: I also have a private framework I use for my emulation purposes...
It would not be hard to implement it for DarkOrbit, given that I have already done much of the work on packet handling etc :P
