If you read BestBot's quote of what was on PBDO's forum, it says it IS NOT over! Why join a forum if you cannot read and comprehend? Is there a need to act like this?
And I bet half of you whining and stuff HAVEN'T even bought a license! You just use the bot for its free 1 hour everyday. You guys are not only LEECHERS, but dumb, greedy, stupid, incomprehensible, Leechers.

I belive he just reed this, and this is not a very good news to hear.
To be honest I did not think this was possible.. They are very great people who only do this as a hobby, and earn money from it and then donæt like it more. I understand this take a lot of time, and it's pretty boring to time to time, but you earn money from your hard work, i am not saying its so easy, but i hope you soon get time to give this bot a new start, not so many features but only a orginal bot like Kbot/Ibot with superfast updates and superhappy users, and your mood get much better, and not at last the motivation.
I am only saying, why not try to make PBDO-BOT to a bot like Ibot, but only with some few special features, like collecting Palla and the same as Ibot/Kbot?
I think this is a very smart post to you v5development team.
We still trust you, and we will always wait on good news from you, and
Bot Client is currently Online, checked 3 minutes ago
I hope we can see this very soon, and take your time you need, and enjoy your life and having fun.

Well, here we are, on the 1st of June. To be honest, I didn't think it would come to this so quickly. Before we get started, we would just like to say that we did not want this to happen. If there was a way to get this going for you guys right now, we would be doing it. There have been numerous circumstances surrounding our work the last few weeks but we'll touch on that in a few minutes.
First of all, we would all love to say, thankyou for your loyalty, your patience and your constant ability to be able to put up with ever prolonging estimated time frames. We wouldn't be the community we are today without you, the community! Can you beleive that it has been just over two years since the PBDO-Bot beta was released? Since then, we have had a staggering 85,830 total users sign up for the forums. Whats more amazing is that we have almost 180 new members EVERY DAY sign up for PBDO-Bot! Thats a huge number and we owe it all to you guys.
Now to the real news. You will all be aware that we previously stated that we would try our best to get back online by the 1st of June or we would start offering money back offers to everyone who bought licenses since the 16th of April. Considering this day has come, we ought to let you know our current situation to let you decide on what you wish to do. Everyone who bought a license since the above date will have the right to request a refund from Dozer. If you wish to do so please contact him via PM so he can aid you further. Please do not post requests for refunds directly on the forum or they will be removed and ignored. Dozer will be prioritizing people who bought a license over those who upgraded their licenses.
So, what really happened you maybe be asking? Well, to answer this question we have to go back a few months. As of the 19th of October 2012 Bigpoint implemented some major encryption on their protocoles. This is similar to what happened about a year back with the migration of a string based packet system to a more compact binary based system. Whilst it may have taken some time to reverse this new feature we were back online within around 1 weeks. Which is more than I can say for iBot and kBot This is where things began to spiral downward. Before then we had updates out in around 30 minutes after an update was pushed to DarkOrbit's servers and we were really getting into the flow of things. After this initial encryption update some smaller updates were made in the weeks after that switched around the encryption algorithm they used on top of their base RC4 encryption. This made things difficult for us as we had to find a way to dynamically handle this at the authentication server level. This led to the creation of a nifty little library by myself (jD) called Armory. Armory allowed us to examine Flash files on the binary/bytecode level and completely in memory which then led to almost flawless decompilation of encryption keys. Things ran smooth for quite a few months after that. After some initial jumping issues being sorted, the bot was running as smoothly as before the update. Total downtime for that update? 5 days. Next came DDoS attacks. Whilst this was a sort of "sit there and absorb it all" solution, it did affect a fair few amount of users for about a week. After that attack, we put in some decent measures to prevent it occuring in the future. We still have plans to implement anycast and when we do, we will be untouchable After this things went fine! Right until we hit the 27th of March 2013. Bigpoint thought it'd be nice to be a bitch to us all and released the update over easter. I myself was on holiday with family camping and only heard news of the update when I checked my phone stepping into the car. For the next 6 hours of driving, I was constantly flicking between skype and the internet whilst communicating with the rest of the team. Ideas were thrown and whilst it seemed like we were getting somewhere, not much really happened in terms of results. Camp continued in the world of jD whilst the rest of the team relentlessly smashed the gameclient open looking for any clues. Countless attempts were made at decrypting code left right and center. I spent almost 2 days of my long weekend working on a solution whilst the other guys also pursued their ideas. The answer finally came in the form of some fancy techniques. We had the magic code, or Pandoras box as Bigpoint liked to call it. This was a pretty major event, it seemed to us that Bigpoint got a bit up themselves with that update as they decided to release a fully unobfuscated game client. This lead to what we now know as CodeGen, something that builds upon the Armory library and allows dynamic code porting and identifier renaming based on other versions of the same game code. This is when Bigpoint decided its all or nothing. Over the following 4 weeks Bigpoint relentlessly mutilated game code in an attempt to stop quick updates. Mr.Smith and I handled the first few updates of this sort manually but it was becoming evident that it was just to inefficient and we saught other methods.
And thus, we are here. A few game clients later and we have a seriously mutilated game client that we are trying to analyse. We haven't given up in any way. We are just finding it hard to locate the motiviation to put every minute of every day into the bot. Over the past 5 months we have seen a major reduction in forum users and compliments in bot discussion threads are scarce. We do love you guys, but love is mutual. All we seem to get is bug reports and critisism in Bot feedback threads nowadays and its becoming increasingly difficult to work on something that just isn't fun anymore. We aren't giving up, this post is not a goodbye message, but instead a more of a "we are taking a break from the forum" sort of post. We will not give up on PBDO-Bot. This post is a sort of message to let you guys that we honestly don't have any time frame for an update and to let you know we don't want you to hold your breath for too long. We thankyou for how patient you have been but it is now our turn to let you know that it has come to the point where an update maybe tomorrow or it maybe next year. Remember, PBDO-Bot was always and still is a free time project, and man oh man has it come a long way. We love you guys, and don't plan on going anywhere. If DarkOrbit isn't the next best thing still, then maybe we will see you at the next project we work on?
Anyway, enough is enough. For the last time in a bit,
Sincerely, v5development team / Mr.Smith, Peperov, Predat0r, Dozer, Shadow and myself, jD xoxo

If the update will take up to a year, why don't they just crack Ibot like Ivan does? Just see how profibot updates so fast and replicate it in pbdo perhaps. I know that it is not that easy, but I am sure JD said that he cracked Ibot before.
