Who can use Oracle Virtualbox?and what is this?

It's a virtual machine. You can install another OS into it and run it in a window in your main OS. It's like vmware or ms virtualpc. It's easy to use i think.

Oracle is used to install another "PC" in ur computer.

Its good because you can have your PC with some OS and install another OS on that Oracle Virtualbox..

Long story short; You run an OS inside an OS

Example:

You're a Mac user, You can use a VM to run a Windows OS or Linux
You're a Linux user, You can use VM to run Windows or Mac

If you're a standard typical user; the odds are, you'll never need to use VM; As you can just bot on your PC...

You turn your PC off, all programs are stopped/closed, including VM.

P.s - Easiest way to explain it maybe is like running a program as admin in Vista/W7, You simply run the program through a OS emulator

ummmm... No? In this Case you actually only have elevated rights, which does'nt have too much to do with vms...

You have similiar functionality with winxp mode in win7. Vmware has similiar functionality, but the problem is legal - to install winxp in vmware or virtualbox, you need winxp license (if you care ). But win7 has included the binaries, so no license is required.
But running OS in the VM is good for pixelbots, because they can still capture the screen and you can do what u want on your pc. It's also good for running untrusted/infected sw etc. It's completelly separated enviroment, but eats more CPU.

I'd just like to add, if you want to actually do anything that requires lot's of system resources (eg: RAM), then you will need a good computer/laptop, as it is still using your computer.

Honestly unless you got a realy beefed u pc i wouldn't use it cause it will bog down your pc to unbelively slow speeds
