On my account I have Aegis, Goliath and 8 Iris 1 Havok. LF3+ Elite Shields a lot. Hit is not high

Actually you don't need any distance for x2 .. you oneshot the npcs anyway and ibot / kbot does not circle npc's on x1/x2. The aliens do not do any damage anyway.
