DOClanManager Discord Bot


About
The DOClanManager is a Discord Bot for your clan’s discord server. I hope you see this bot as a really fun add-on for your clan! It provides the following features*,

*More features will be added as time goes on, you'll have to check the various comments I've made on this thread to see them all


“Linking”
The bot allows user’s to “Link” their discord account to their darkorbit account by using the “link” command giving their darkorbit username.

NOTE: These links are stored in a database.


“Verifying”
The bot makes use of a role called “Verified” which I’ll setup on your server. This role given to a user in your server “verifies” that the account they’ve “linked” on is theirs, and not someone elses! Bot will announce whenever this role has been added/removed.


WARNING!
Admins of the discord server are advised to NOT give the “Verified” role to people who have not yet linked on an account


“Unlinking”
Made a mistake linking your account? Or perhaps you have a new account? “Unlinking” accounts is done by using the “unlink” command giving a “mentioned” person in the server. This will remove their link from the database, AND remove their “Verified” role, so they’ll need to re-verify after they link on a new account.

Linking discord roles to ranks in clan
The bot allows you to specify which roles in your discord server match to ranks in your clan. Just tell me which ones and the bot will link them


“clansearch”
The “clansearch” command, given a clan name, will reply with all clans that have that clan name as a subname; this is the same as the “clan search” feature on the backpage!

Sending diplomacy over discord
The bot can send wars, naps, alliances and end wars from discord simply by writing the command giving the “clan id” (in base 10)
You can also provide an optional “reason” for the diplomacy!
For example,
-war 1234 “They did something to me”
Would send war to the clan with the id “1234”


Finding which clan is of a base 10 id
Not sure which clan the id is of for sending diplomacy? The bot provides a “clan” command, which given a base 10 id will reply with the information about the clan. This, at the moment, includes the “member count”, the “company” and the “clan logo”!

Kicking feature
The bot can kick anyone from the clan you want! Of course only certain roles will be able to do this, however you can also kick yourself for the clan, simply by using the “kickme” command.
People who can kick anyone will also be able to use the “kick” command which allows them to kick anyone they want from the clan
For example,
-kick @
Will kick @’s linked account from the clan only if the caller has the permissions



Ranking feature
The bot can give any rank in the clan to any discord user’s linked account! Of course only if the caller has permissions to
The commands for giving ranks are: “rank” which sets the rank of a mentioned discord user’s linked account to the given rank name, only if the rank name is a rank name in the actual clan
For example,
-rank @ Leader
Will set the rank of @’s linked account to “Leader” in the clan
-rankNo @
Will set the rank of @’s linked account to “Please Select” (NONE) in the clan
-rankMe
Sets your rank to the rank associated with your clan role in discord


Accept me
No one online to accept you into clan? The bot can accept you at any time into the clan, provided the clan is not already full and you’ve sent your application
There are 2 commands for this: “acceptme” which specifies you only want your linked account to be accepted and “accept” which specifies you want to accept all applicants who are linked members of the clan
Both of these commands also will apply the “rankMe” command after accepting all applicants, setting your rank in game based on your discord role!


Base Logging
The bot will always check your bases and make posts whenever a module has been destroyed on your battle station, deflector has been turned off, you clan member has built a base, replaced a module, etc. Every 1-2minutes

Furthermore, when one of your clan’s deflectors has less than 10 minutes remaining the bot will @” everyone in discord for someone to go and manually deactivate it!

Finding the deflector status of your clan’s bases
Want to know the status of all your clan’s deflectors? The “bases” command will show all bases your clan owns and say whether or not the deflector is UP as well as for how long, as well as providing minimap pictures!

Want to know the status of a single base on your map? The “base” command given a “map” will show you this!


Notifying/setting an alarm
The bot can also set alarms to notify you X minutes before an “event” is about to happen!

Example,
-notif “Enemy base will be down in 1-3” 60 7
Will set an alarm and notify you with the text “Enemy base will be down in 1-3”, when there’s 7 minute remaining starting from 60 minutes left!

The above example shows an alarm being set for an enemy base in 1-3 which has its deflector up for 60 minutes and the person wants to be notified when there’s 7 minutes remaining


Removing a notification
Made a mistake? You can remove a set notification by using the “remNotif” command, giving the “name” you’ve specified to the alarm.
So if we wants to remove the above we do,
-remNotif “Enemy base will be down in 1-3”
NOTE: this is not case-sensitive!


Private message everyone
The bot can send a private message to everyone in your discord server with a member role a given message! This is done by using the “pmAll” command


Finding the ids and profile links of usernames
Need someone’s user id, or their profile link from their name? The bot can perform a profile search by using the “profile” command!
For example,
-profile Supermecha2
Will return Supermecha2’s id in base 10 and his profile link!


Finding profile links from base 10
You have someone’s id in base 10 but don’t know who they are? The bot can tell you their username and their profile url by using the “profile10” command!
For example,
-profile10 1234
Will return “Supermecha2” followed by his profile url

Implicit Base Nofication command
You can type in things like: "2-3 open in HH:MM:SS" or "4-5 closed for HH:MM:SS" and the bot will automatically generate a notification! You can then remove this notification with "remnotif" as explained above to remove it if you've made a mistake!

Forgot everything already?
The bot can be given a "help" channel, and will then post a list of all the commands available as well as how to use them!l

• I will require a noob account in your clan with ALL permissions, which I’ll make myself
• Your clan’s preferred language
• Which channels you want commands to be executed in
• Which discord roles you want to be linked to ranks in clan, and what permissions they should have
• Customise the bot's picture and name; you tell me the what picture and name you want to bot to have

Data Privacy
Your clan’s data will be kept private, I will not make public any data to anyone

5 euro/month PayPal F&F
I will setup a bot instance on my vps and begin setup on your clan’s discord. The bot will then run 24/7 from that day.

On the day your month expires you bot will not be run, however all linked data will be stored permanently should you want to renew your license in the future, unless you tell me to delete it.

I will provide a full refund if I am unable to consistently keep your bot running (I am not sure how many bots my VPS can run so limited number of spots!)

Didn't post this yesterday but I'll start posting any changes I make here as well from now on, editing the above if necessary.

- "accept" and "acceptme" will now check whether "at least 1 person" has been accepted and reply with a link to the application page for the clan, otherwise setting rank as usual

- Added "dostats" command to return the "DOStats" profile page for a given username (must be in the same server as you)

Bot Reconnection
Automatic bot reconnection seems to not be working sometimes, so bot now checks every 5 minutes whether it has disconnected from discord or not, and will attempt to "restart" if it has disconnected.

This update features "UsernameTracking"

Commands
- Added track <username> [<otherUsername>] command to add the given <username> to the "UserTracker" under the name <otherUsername> (if provided otherwise it'll be <username>)

This update features the "nickname" feature!

Commands
- Added nicknameMe sets your nickname in discord to your current username/nickname + your linked account's name
NOTE: Server owners or users with "higher or equal" permission to the bot cannot have their nickname modified by the bot
(Requires "verified" permission)

- Added nickname <@mention> adds to the nickname of someone who has a linked account in your discord their linked username

These are posts made that will be updated by the bot every 2* minutes, showing your clan's base's information on discord.

FAQ
I want to change the order of the base posts
-> Delete a post made by the bot and the bot will repost on the next update, so you can order it how you want!
What happens when a base dies?
-> When a base dies the bot will post in its assigned #dead-bases-channel the base's information along with "DEAD BASE", and will remove the post made in #active-bases
I want the bot to post in another channel
-> Contact me to do this for you

Other
This makes the "bases" and "base" command useless, but I'll keep them for now and remove it in the future.
This update is a start; I plan to add other information to the bases, like "Known attackers", "Base module owners", etc.

Since discord has a maximum character limit of 2000, I've limited the sizes of each "clan name" to a maximum of 20 characters and maximum number of these clans by 10.
