Can i upgrade my lvl 124 tro's equipment (like his lvl 121 clubs) in tc by spaming mets into it rather than using dbs? i got craploads of mets but no dbs. if i could upgrade in 50 mets that would still be better than a db.
i have been told i cant but would like to know for sure. Has anyone upgraded equipment beyond 120 without using dbs?

I'm sure you can't, but since I never tried it before that makes it only a 99% sure. Try it in TC with mets first. If the met returns to your inventory and your item is not damaged but not upgraded, that means you can't upgrade in TC and have to use DBs.
I just got lvl 120 3 days ago and tried to level my weapons with mets at twin, is impossible, my mets just go back to my inventory an nothing happen =(
I think GrimReraper91 was tring to say "120- only can be upgraded by dbs"
