ok so i think i may have thought up of a way to manipulate the CO2 servers to our advantage but im not entirely sure this will work...well my idea is to fool the server by outputting false info...i think this might work. Its just a question of manipulating the stream of data that is being constantly outputted by your computer onto the CO2 sever mainframe...i believe that the way conquer works character based (and i am probably semi entirely wrong about this) is their is a stream of data that is outputted from the server mainframe and your computer using conquer as a filtering tool displays this data into comprehensible pictures and words for us to read, saves it temporarily to your computer then records what you do and sends that data back to the server mainframe and is stored and that is your character data...it is to my understanding using this logic that if we were to possibly either intercept the stream of data coming into or out of the computer, we could manipulate it to say/display whatever we want...plz let me know if this is at all possible, cause if so i will start working on the algorithms that process the information...it is to my understanding that the stream of incoming data might also by encrypted if so i will also strat on a decrypting algorithm. thank you to all who reply to my question
1. data gets stored in memory, rarely are data stored on the computer
2. you need the encryption for the data sent/recieved
3. for manipulating data recieved, a good example is QoProxy's divine hare cyclone.
4. for sending false info to the server, it may or may not work (depends on how smart the programmers are), whether they implemented checks for false info. A good example would be repairing without unequipping, but then a check was put in place to prevent this.
