Maybe if you added Lottery for the purpose of benefiting players and not your DB sales then people wouldn't have a problem I personally hate the lottery to death (as I see countless person after person gain +8s) which is one of the reasons I am developing my emulator. I feel I can do a hell of a better job than TQ in customer service (you won't have to buy DBs to get help) and in some patches that are possible (I won't hand out rares to people who have their parents buy them binary data). CO is a wonderful game. You nailed that one. I love CO. It's the best game I've ever played (mmo genre).. but damn did it go to waste recently. DBs went from 5-6m to 125m after lottery was added and now it's settled at around 30m. You've got to be joking. If you get a DB, you're a rich bitch.. but what if you can't get a DB? DBs were used for more than lottery and now those features have become WAY more expensive than they should be. Now people can get level 130 near instantly just because they are lazy. I understand payrolls have to be filled and server payments are due, but TQ has lost a LOT of dedicated players (me for one) over these recent feature additions. I personally dumped over 1500$ into CO a long time ago.. Stupid mistake. What's my shit worth now? Nothing. All over lottery added. I'd probably get 10 DBs out of my stuff yet I used over 500 dbs to get it all. Now that is frustrating and that's coming from someone who has deeply supported CO.

Let?s break these down into smaller parts, shall we?

This is not a good topic. TQ Digital works their hardest to provide the wonderful customer support they have for us.

Overview of what we?re about to be told.

All the patches that have came for Conquer Online have benefited the community for all players.

Actually, they?ve supported those who buy Dragon Balls, and those who don?t bot.

We may go though all the patches if you wish and explain why TQ Digital put them in the game if you wish. The angriest players in the game seems to be the botters and account hackers, if you all would play fair and do not cheat then TQ must not need to put punishment on you.

They?ll defend themselves?by blaming those who bot and make other?s lives hell. If you followed us like sheep, we wouldn?t shoot you when you got out of line.

synsia is a wonderful member to the TQ community and like all members of TQ Digital, put the players first in all interests. All new features in the game are only to improve an already fantastic and wonderful game. If TQ would simply stop patching and improving Conquer Online, people would stop playing. Botters would take control of the game and new members would no longer come into the game.

Apparently everyone at TQ is wonderful, especially synsia. They think everyone loves their game(why do people bot then?). If they stopped patching, botters would take over the game, and new people wouldn?t join, eliminating their chance to get more Dragon Ball buyers. Who could possibly want them to stop sending out their wonderful patches like the lottery?

As it is already, TQ requires more money for new servers because there is not enough room all the new players. Since Conquer Online is free to download and free to play TQ offers additional paid but optional features. This is how TQ pays for Conquer Online. They do not favor the players that use the paid features, of course if a player bought DragonBalls and lost them it would only be fair that we help them out since they lost their money and were so nice to pay TQ. For other support though, all members are created equal and TQ treats all their support cases with the same priority.

They have lots of new people who might buy Dragon Balls. They wouldn?t want to stop them, so they make more room. Therefore, TQ gives help to those people who help them pay. If people lose Dragon Balls, TQ helps them so that they don?t stop buying Dragon Balls. For support that doesn?t involve them getting Dragon Balls, it is ranked as ?B?.

When someone is cheating the game, they are gaining an unfair advantage over the players that do not cheat. Now TQ asks for something in return, for DragonBalls a botter may leave bot jail for a certain amount of times, the reason for this, is because if someone is going to cheat the game they must be punished for it. With paying a DragonBall they would need to hunt for one, or buy one. Buying a DragonBall is a simple, yet effective way of getting yourself out of botjail. You are not just helping yourself, but you are helping TQ Digital, the creates of this great game by providing them with more funds so they may keep Conquer Online running.

When someone cheats, they are gaining an advantage over people who don?t cheat?and are attacking the role of the upper class who buy Dragon Balls. If we catch you(in our witch hunts), we will force you to join the upperclass. How? It takes one Dragon Ball to get out(at least the first time). What?s the minimum purchase of Dragon Balls? Two. And remember, not only are you getting an advantage over botters by buying Dragon Balls, you also are giving TQ money. Yay! TQ deserves this money because they made a (in their opinion great) game. (Honestly, it was a good game. Now, however?)

We now have ways of scanning for multiclients if you have more then two players running at the same IP during the time of the scan then you will be placed in bot jail.

TQ will randomly look for people using the same IP address. As soon as they get low on money, they?ll throw you in.

Ah, what a wonderful quote. I believe I ran into it(on the Conquer forums) over a year ago. It still rings true. Now, TQ employees are locked up in a room, with only one button: the one that shuts off all the servers.

Once a week, all the GMs get together and hit the reset button and get payed for it.

As someone already pointed out, that?s 23 Dragon Balls dropped over the space of 74 servers. That means a whopping 31 percent of servers experienced a Dragon Ball dropping(assuming they all happened on different servers). The drop rate only decreased a little(if you count the number of digits that dropped off for Dragon Balls dropped each day), and it?s only fair that TQ reduces the chance of getting any kind of gem, because they put normal gems in all the monsters.

Of course they care about botters! They have high level characters they care about! When they are bot-jailed, TQ gets Dragon Balls!

1.You cant get a db for less than 50kk on my server.
2.The economy is screwed
3.Before the lottory people tryed for months even years to get get great equips.Now some lucky lvl 70 noob comes along and wins great stuff after only been playing a day.Not fair rearly i dont think.
4.People cant affored to upgrade they equipment because of prices of dbs.Not everybody can affored to buy dbs online.

The lottery was the single dumbest thing TQ have done in a looong time. They totally killed any sense of economy there ever was in any server. Im still wondering if they ever even think of the effects and implications of adding/changing game content before they do.

BTW, a suggestion for TQ:

Charge a few DBs to get your stuff back from being hacked

yeeeeeeahhh there is at least 6 computers with conquer in my house i can log on 12 accounts leagly, you lil IP thing is pretty dumb how many ppl in america ONLY OWN ONE COMPUTER GET REAL tq YOU NEED think a lil more before start bragging.

And 1 db a day on a server drop is still crap, do you know how many ppl play the game, and what does 1 db do? NOTHING! you can garutne if you use it on lotto you need more than 1 db to get anything, and youll be lucky if it upgrades a normal item to ref in TC

And beacuse of the crap eco probablems lotto has made in CO selling a db wont get you much

Honestly dude, people don't get HACKED! I bet in the history of CO there has never been one real case of someone getting hacked, FFS.

The majority of people who have been "hacked" in this game have been scammed by a friend, or a person they bought a char from. The rest have been keylogged while trying to cheat to gain an advantage.

And everyone trying to make botting sound like its a attack against paypallers? That is nowhere near anyones motivation for botting, everyone thinks they can get something for free.

Oh well, enough ranting, back to frapsing speeders and botters.

I hear everyone complaining about DB buyers having all the great players, On my server its the biggest cheats who have all the best players, not the dbs buyers, all are trojans and a couple of them are all super 2 soc. Non of them have bought a dbs online ever. There is a guild of about 45 chars of which 30 of them are 1 player. Its these types who do not contribute anyting of value to the game and are usually the one whining about everything that chanages.

Tq is a bussiness, not a charity, we might not like their bussiness model, but you all need to remember they are in the bussiness of MAKING money, not friends.

Lottery and DBS are not the biggest issues the game faces, but its the out of ballance PvP that the power cheaters have used to their advantage to become the elite players on servers.

There is a huge trojan bias in this game, that with a little imagination could be fixed, all lotto did was remove the advantage from the little cheat, but further enhanced the divide between normal players and the Elite cheaters.

Time to share my two cents.

I believe that TQs way of paying for servers, selling DBs, is not that bad. We still get to play for free. We can still get as good as the DB buyers, (with a lot more work.) Servers cost money. 12k does NOT pay for 74 servers that can hold 1,000 simultaneous connections. The only thing I disagree with is how TQ openly lies about the fact that they do not favor DB buyers. If I was TQ, I would favor people who donate too, but not to the extent that you have to buy hundreds of dollars of dragonballs in order to be 'eligible' to recieve customer support.

Also, the lottery. Worst patch ever. TQ, you need to get a book on economics and look up the basic concept of 'supply and demand.' When you can win 500 million silvers in the lottery, silver is worth LESS. That means INFLATION. DragonBalls were 3,000,000 to 5,000,000 in my server. They're now 30,000,000 to 50,000,000. Your lottery has caused so much inflation that prices on everything have risen 10x. Fuh Q.

And remember, not only are you getting an advantage over botters by buying Dragon Balls, you also are giving TQ money. Yay! TQ deserves this money because they made a (in their opinion great) game. (Honestly, it was a good game. Now, however?)

How could we flame an esteemed member of TQ? Rudeness is unnecessary. TQ hasn?t banned one of their own for being here. It?s great how accepting they are.

People are being falsely accused of botting(Yay witch hunts!). But it can?t be TQ?s fault, as they warned us what would happen if we did something that looks like botting. They work really hard on their botting detecting systems. If you are improperly caught, they might release you IF you send them an e-mail explaining your circumstance. Remember, those who buy Dragon Balls get priority! All others must avoid the spam block, which is set to throw out messages with keywords such as ?bot jail? and ?wrong?. But, you can always pay the Dragon Ball(and give TQ more money!).

TQ will randomly look for people using the same IP address. As soon as they get low on money, they?ll throw you in.

GM?s are mythical creatures, rumored to have gone extinct in the 1500?s. They are now believed to live in the fabled land of ?Fchen?s Ass?.

Ah, what a wonderful quote. I believe I ran into it(on the Conquer forums) over a year ago. It still rings true. Now, TQ employees are locked up in a room, with only one button: the one that shuts off all the servers.

Once a week, all the GMs get together and hit the reset button and get payed for it.

That just about sums it up, if you ask me.
Or, as TQ puts it, we can win items that are just as fantastic as the ones the next guy will win! Also, we can still buy Dragon Balls off the site, and join the (now uber) elitist upper class! Yay for credit cards!

TQ has made great story lines! Let?s see, what other Chinese myths have they not yet used? One small problem: to get great prizes, you must put in real money(levels for Dragon Balls for those of you who didn?t catch that). TQ understands that when they remove the quest that gives a great item anyone wants, people are sad. Now, they are offering you the ability to get a replacement for it!(by, you guessed it, buying Dragon Balls!).

Now, instead of everyone running around in the same armor, everyone can run around in the same garments!

TQ is full of bad psychiatrists. They hate our problems(that they cause). They listen to out suggestions, then half-ass them into something cheap. And again: if they tell us the problem, it?s our own fault for not fixing it. And now for something completely different! TQ has made their best profit ever! WOOHOO! (By the way, this helps you by keeping this game free to play, because TQ needs more money to run the same amount of servers.)

Apparently, you people know the truth! Only people with money are successful! But never mind that, TQ will just mumble something unintelligent and move on. (A little help on that part please?)

Again, we are the problem. If no one botted, there would be less strict punishments for it. The bot jail system works(huh?) and they won?d make any changes until necessary(quick show of hands, who thinks it will be more Dragon Balls to get out?).

As someone already pointed out, that?s 23 Dragon Balls dropped over the space of 74 servers. That means a whopping 31 percent of servers experienced a Dragon Ball dropping(assuming they all happened on different servers). The drop rate only decreased a little(if you count the number of digits that dropped off for Dragon Balls dropped each day), and it?s only fair that TQ reduces the chance of getting any kind of gem, because they put normal gems in all the monsters.

Of course they care about botters! They have high level characters they care about! When they are bot-jailed, TQ gets Dragon Balls!
