Hi, I'm a leecher. I've been here a little over a year now (I think) and I've always heard members saying how much better it was in the old days, back when there weren't as many noobs and leechers. I don't think most of you realize we're leechers for a reason.
When we don't contribute it's because we can't program; if we could then we'd contribute if we made anything useful (There are a lot of programs that do same exact things and it probrably wouldn't help if there were 10x more of the same programs whose only difference would be that they're crappier).
If we're noobs because of low post count it's because we can't contribute. What are we suppose to do, spam threads on our "theories" of socketing being based on what color it is? Sometimes people lurk because they don't have anything helpful to say and they don't want to spam.
Yes a lot of us are ungrateful, but not all. I love the DIY guides and I'm personally proud to say I cracked a program on my own, even though the step by step guide is unbelievably simple. Perhaps you could take it one step further and explain why changing a few lines of code bypass's the login process (for the SV standalone)?
On a final note, if people beg and whine and plea for a new bot that works, remember that you've brought this upon yourself. You've made something that has made people's lives easier, something they now depend on. You first shared to the community because you wanted others to see what you made, to contribute back to the community, or to just make life easier for your fellow gamers. Congratulate yourself, for it's compliment whenever "noobs" beg for something.
P.S. I do not speak for all noobs, just the competent ones.
