Hacked/Hacking Query

Ok I expect flamers etc. But I used search first!

Is there any current way of hacking someones pass/wh pass from knowing/guessing a username? Or even some way of hacking a user to find out their info?

A few of my friends have been hacked at various times. Some from sharing accs. Some maybe from using bad bots. But at least 2 who don't share or cheat have had their chars stripped and I'm curious to know if it's possible.

One of my friends I'm certain has never shared. The other day he got a message from a fake spouse asking him to add a new addy to MSN which he did. He signed in online saw me and asked if I had his supposed spouse's new MSN to whch I replied she ain't got one. They tried to send a file during this which he refused but as he was typing to me all his chars d/c'd and the passes had been changed.

Now obv I only have his word for what happened his end but you can see why I'm wondering..

Uhmm. Did your friend have firewall? Backdoors previously installed? File sharing?

yeah this is a pretty useless thread... *points to the obvious fact this is a hacking/botting website*

also... the REAL hackers aren't going to share their ways... most hackers like to keep their ways to themselves, one of the reasons is their "signature" (a way in wich each hacker or group of hackers can be identified by the means of their hacking) ---of course, hacking sigs can be passed...

try other hacking pages... this focusses on game cheating/botting/etc
go to a place that focuses on trojans/brute-force/networking type hacks... also, brush up on your protocols

I'm not asking HOW to do it just was wondering if it was possible now. I know there was a thread some time back where they were gonna work on it. Kinda interested to see if they succeeded.
