Weapons used by Waters

I've seen alot of water taoist welding spears and other types of large weapons. What are the actuall advantages of these weapons and how much strenght attribute points do I need to use a suitable one. :doggy: :*******:

Most often used weapons by melee water tao's are spears, blades, wands and poleaxes.

Spears are PVP wise best in using they are pretty fast and the damage is insane too.

Dont use a wand to pvp with not enough dex you'll be dead before you notice.
Personnaly I like blade best since FBing is for me a fun part in game.

You will need a max of 176 strength to hold melee weapons. Advantages include higher attack than the Fire spell and the ability to own fire taos and archers if you can catch them. Obviously you'll want dragon gems. And for melee you're gonna need to dump all the mana you can spare for HP. I'd keep maybe 2000 mana to rev and stig.

As for the choice of weapon, just compare the stats of each, and also their skills. Fixed Speed Gun is awesome when it activates and you have a good spear, so imho thats best for pvp with a 2h wep. And Mehk is right...blades are a lot of fun.

I use a elite +4 2 soc wand with fixed snow..pretty much it sucks in pvp since i can one hit all non rb tros up to 110 and 130 arcchers with snow plvl sucks in a crowded area..ull be red and dead before u can do anything but for leveling it owns spear

Although wand isnt the most effective PvP weapon it still owns if you have the drags / skill to back it up.

Best is opinion.
Wand has strong skill, but spear or others is more accurate.
It depends on your preference.

Oh ok, what is a good strenght attribute for a water taoist? When I get rb I wanna get a good spear or something because my fire sucks.

Have your strength be high enough to get the new few levels higher wepon (Hope that makes sense, but just make sure you wont end up without enough str to use the next weapon. But, this isnt an issue until after level 70).
My Tro-Fire uses a wand occasionally.

For (not warrior)->water best weapon is spear (high dmg, accuracy and the best skill for tg - 210% dmg 47% uise rate) so u can lvl on tg fast and its good for pvp)
For warrior->water best choice is wand or poleaxe. Lower dmg than spear and weakness skill. But snow and boreas skill is much better for lvl with superman because u can kill all mobs near u (with spear only mobs in line)

Your water need 176 strenth points on 120lvl to use any weapon. b4 that u need enugh strenth to use weapon on current lvl

I use a sword myself, mainly because you can use sword skills with a backsword, never tried spear, but the wand is useally what I use to hunt and all
