Make a new post as a poll with a detailed outline of your mentoring idea,like how it would work,benefits and such. Hopefully as a poll and with a good game plan it may get more attention from mods and the Admin

^^ I try my best not to waste time asking questions that I've seen repeated over and over. And yes, I too will look forward to the replies this may bring about. Even if it doesn't help me at all... It may be a step in a new direction for epvp. I, personally, would love a mentor program, much as I doubt that it would ever come about.

Even so, I believe it would be easy enough to do. With a few smart people, and some spare time... and something like mIRC... you could quite easily spread a lot of knowledge very quickly. Even if it was simply an hour a day that you take to learn a bit from one of the more tech savvy people here... it would be a beginning, and it would effectively end the dispute about leechers. With the mentor program in place, it *could* effectively replace Epvp's 'open door' policy. Changing it to: 'If you're not here to contribute, or at least learn, then you're not here at all.' As someone else said on this forum... when you sign up for an account there could be a simple set of questions which would either get you accepted, or not. And, it wouldn't be hard to set up another area for noobs to learn... where you could easily track who is posting and contributing, and who is not. Therefore effectively and cleanly culling the ranks of those people who are simply here for an easy and quick fix.

Anyhow, again, this is just my two cents. Personally, I think it would be a good idea, so now... I leave it to the Epvp community to think on.

indeed, im getting sick of all the noobs asking why the hacks dont work and what hacks do work >.<
this is the fist time i can login to e*pvp because i get database error all the time and if i didnt get it... it would take 10 minutes (NO JOKE!) to load a page...

in short i would be in the same rank as shadow (with obviously much fewer posts ;p) since we have this great idea, lets put it in motion - a journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step right? so lets have the first step be maybe a list of usable programming languages that would be in our best interest to learn about, or how about a .txt with an already made code that we could disect and maybe get the feel of how the function calls work and all that good stuff.. maybe that would help a few people and bring out more ideas to help others. and all the programers had to start somewhere right? so why don't you come out and tell us where you started just to give an idea of what direction to take.

while everyone is comending xxshadowxx no one is offering any ideas - if we could get a few uber programers to just give us a corner stone it would help greatly.
