Argh.... when i try to start it doesnt ask after my db pw and acc:S

Thats because now it gets the user and password from a ini file when it connects to the database. The ini file is in your debug or release folder depands what you compile it as, and it called config.ini

i saw the config.ini file complete in a post but i cant find it the only thing that my config.ini says is

[Database]
DBname= postgres
Password= postgres

can u post the good one thanks

Does it matter what client version you try to connect with? I know the packet structure for the co client was changed in May. I dont know if that makes a difference or not.


Also to get the server running on my comp i had to make this dir.

C:\Program Files\Conquer 2.0_b\ini

Then put the file gamemap.dat in it before it would run and initialize all the way.

Revision updated so you don't need to create the folder anymore or have the mapping file.
I have disabled this feature cause it needs to be worked on more, and also so we dont get ppl complaining it dont work .

Thnaks ranny for the response. Is the packet structure for the server built after the 4312 patch or before. I'm having probs logging in was wanting to make sure i was using a compatible client.

Yeh the server supports Clients which are 4312+ only.

Revision Updated (8),
I fixed the CreateCharacter function so it supports load/saving of items.

I would delete all the Characters and create new ones.
