co 1.0 sounds

IS there any way we could get old CO 1.0 sounds back? because i hate the new sounds.. all i can hear is swinging

Yes, if you still have the old Conquer 1.0 installer, just install it into another directory. Afterwards, you can copy the sounds over to the Conquer 2.0 folder.

(I think the filenames are the same but can someone confirm this)

yes, all you have to do is get the old files, you copy them into CO2 folder, and replace all.

get the sounds and the co 1.0 sound ini,It may crash if a missing sound is called,But ive done this for awile and never had any problems

Heres the 1.0 actionsound.ini if you like
this way is easier imo

but you could also replace the file names if you just want to replace the ones you want like mentioned above(alot of the weapon sounds are named differently)
