Jump Animation Edit
I've searched for awhile for this and had no luck.
I'm trying to figure out how my brother managed to removed the jump animation. He was on a private server. He had it to where when people jumped, they appeared to just teleport instantly.
If someone could provide alittle insight into how he accomplished this, I'd very much appreciate it. A reply here or pm will work; either way you like.

I can't remember exactly which file, it's a c3 file somewhere...
you just need to delete it, I've done it before.
But yeah, if someone could just tell him which c3 file it is then that's all he needs to do.

It could be that the private server coded jumping wrong and just had them teleport?

you can edit the actual animation files, or you can use a proxy (or any other method of editing packets).
depending on the server/intelligence of your brother someone could've just told him what files/given him a proxy.

Yah proxies make it very easy. Simply replace the jump subtype with correct coords subtype and BOOM they instantly appear where they are going to jump.
I'd heard that deleting the animation file was fixed... but maybe that was just a rumor as I'd never used it.

As for our intelligence programming wise, he's slow and I'm slower, so he probably was told by someone. I can usually fumblefock my way through things out once I'm given alittle direction.
Does anyone know which files control the animation?

ok, i know for fact, the jump animation, is held within one of the following files:
3DEffect.ini
3DEffectInfo.ini
3DEffectObj.ini
3dmotion.ini
3DFlyingObj.ini
3dmotion.ini <----- the most likely one, motion means movement
ok anyways, dont try deleting them because co throws erros at you, but, who can help me go threw every single line and delete 1 line at a TIME untill u jump and get an animation error?
