After check on sites how this virus works I reallized that the patch is not infected. Only _desktop.ini was there (folders 611 & 741), and it have date of creation sep/04.
Since I have download the patch on sep/05, these _desktop.ini files does not came from my machine, but TQ ones!!!

Maybe someone now (the creator of virus) have all GMs account and password , not mine

IF YOU FIUND THIS VIRUS, DO NOT SIMPLY DELETE BECAUSE IT MY STILL BE THERE, go on the CO site, (link provided ontop of this topic) and use there way of deleting...
This makes you ask....is there really a TQ? or is it some company who pays college kids to give them some games and software, and they just host it?
How the hell could a virus end up in an online game that THEY realeased?
Or possible could hve macafee PAYED tq to do this, because this is AMAZING dvertisement for them
OMG this is BS, a Online game as huge as this releasing a Virus, this just goes to show how good there security etc is. Wouldnt suprise me if they next announce lost accounts due to database hacked.
Well im happy anyways i checked my folders, and put show hidden files on and none of those files appeared for me, but i hardly ever update i use the same client for like a week, so when i exited mine and loaded it again they probably already fixed it :X

My Ewido Anti-Spyware picked it up on my friends pc, he got the virus and it kept crashing his pc blue screen of death rofl. Well yea ive got Ewido Anti-Spyware trial with the crack. if anyone wants it just let me know.

Too bad i have it ... well the _desktop.ini exists in my folders. I just checked what this virus do, and it said he duplicate hisself in the network :/...

The patch didn't include the virus itself, just the files the virus places in the folder it already tried to infect executables in. Thats why just the gay *** McAfee finds it, cause none of the other scanners thinks that a lousy textfile with a timestamp can be dangerous.
this isn't the first time TQ has released a patch that was infected you all act surprised lol.
Good ol mcafee best anti on the planet stupid kaper and norton systemresourcehog didn't detect it.
Which if my memory serves me correctly the last virus they released was only picked up by mcafee also..And muffin it isn't by any arranged conspiracy like ya think LOL Mcafee is just a better anti always has been for many years after norton went to ****.People just run it because it is so easy to crack/warez it same as kaper but there really not that good there heuristics scans suck they only detect what there updated defs tell it to pick up.
i haven't really noticed a virus on this, because there was a virus on msn spreading like wildfire. If you get a link on msn that says loltopics or something, DONT CLICK IT!! it will screw your system.
