What's the average mets to spam for a socket?

I've never made a socket yet, but I want to try. I can get mets - but I want to know about how many I would need to use in TC to get a socket on average.

I searched and some people say 200, some say 500, some say other numbers. I'm just looking for someone that has made many sockets that could give me a good average.

If you must know I want to make a socket attack ring.

your a ****** noob... thats not called makin a socket. its called bein ****** lucky when u met up ur equipment -.-, also.. id say about 100 mets is all id use in 1 intervil.. but i seen peopel spam 500 and get noithing

spam 500 mets so that u can be sure u get a socket and spam 1 met per 30 sec, so u should sit kinda long in tc 2 get sock....

Why should I spam 1 met every 30 seconds instead of say 1 met every 10 seconds?
