the old way still works but search for

txt->Eng

hex->45 6E 67

you will see

"Englis"

just change one letter so it looks like

"pnglis"

worked for me

no they didn't, the only thing patch 4313 did was replace the itemtype.dat file and the version.dat file

and even if they did replace GameData.dll you can just redo it with HexEditor or unpack Conquer.exe and do it

when I do this I lose the Time and Day at the top of my screen. Anyway to get around losing these.

Actually i noticed on one computer i lost time and date, but on my main computer i did the exact same fix and did not lose it. Not exactly sure how it happened....ill retrace my steps though.
