what is the purpose of scanning homemade programs? obviously anti virus/trojan programs wont detect anything. it scans for the code of specific virus and trojans. if one were to place a keylogger in a program, the code wont match with anything since it doesnt have anything to compare it with. unless all youre worried about is viruses or trojans, however i think keyloggers would be more harmful.
this post isnt meant to be a flame or whatever, just saying that there is still risk even though your antivirus says a file is clean.
