, as for posting whatever and throwing in my oppinion, the entire point of forums are to post your oppinions, also after reading pretty much everything to do with conquer on these forums it is generally known that socketing is not determined by time, cords, people online, repairing etc etc

it is completely random,

so i am in fact helping the people who listen to reason, by stopping them from getting there hopes up that this technique is better than any other, the quickest way to get sockets is either to use a high level archer to reborn the same gear repeatedly and upgrade it repeatedly, to spam mets randomly or to hunt and save up and buy sockets, and for you lazy people (i know your out there) ebay

This gives u about about a 0.002 chance which is about right from my experience of socketing, I got similar results to in game running the above, it ranges from <10 to about 1000 attempts to get a positive hit

well i had 1 socket so far, and that was when i made my rb archer wear high lvl warr armor in market. lvl87->100 took 6 mets and made a soc so it is possible to score sockets in market. (too bad it was warr armor not archers >_<)

I'm not saying what is right or wrong i dont believe in times or anything like that.. all i posted was my thoughts.. this is what i do and it works for me and couple of my friends.. doesnt work for everyone .. spam if u want.. sit around and 20000 dif times if u want.. this is my cheap opinion which as resulted in several sockets for me and my friends.

u can still get socs when ur upgrade fails..i got a soc on a lvl 30 ring when it failed to get to lvl 40 -.-

Could you explain the programmer aspect of this trick? Maybe it programmed to give you a higher chance to socket if you fail more mets?

Let's see if I get this straight...

You're saying that, when failing to upgrade an item (whether its quality or level) your chances for a socket increase?

So using a DB on a random item isn't necessary, however if it's something that you planned to do for profit or because you needed the item, etc, then do it before you try to make your soc, because it will raise your chances?

So, basically - Your theory is to spam one met in 5-10 pairs of lvl 10 boots (or any other low level item that you need socketed)? Using mets/DBs on a high level elite (and failing to upgrade) is just to improve your chances, right?

okie i got a question yo? lets say i use 5 level 1 rings and buy 3 mets scrolls=30 mets, and i use 3 mets on each ring, and it all fails for sock , then im suppose to quit till when?, and what level should i stop upgrading the item persay before i get new low level ones? id rather not waste more than i have to =S

um..just wondering...if you up low lvl items...like boots with mets..and get a socket...then use a db straight away...would it become double socketed?? o.O;

Follow the guide... read it follow it ... not saying this will defidently work for you but its worked for me with 30+ sockets and i recieve emails/pms/karma saying wow i got a socket following ur method for this ammount of time ... just read it and follow what i said thats what i do i am not a programmer so i have no way of explaining it the way i see it its similar to how u up quality in tc over a period of time your luck differs when ur doing quality trick in tg u fail mets on purpose to increase chance of db working if db doesnt work wouldnt it logically mean even more chance of something else.. i'm not saying do this on purpose but do as you like basically only people who have left karma for me on this are few people yet you all have billion questions now that someone came out and revealed his gratitude cause he got his first socket ever in just a week with my system.. show a little love then throw me a question in private message i'm sure i will abblige.
