Help: How to add map effect

I've been searching thru the forums about adding Mapp effects, such as balloons, spook entrance, or upgrades. So far in the forum, theres only threads on how to remove map effect, but not adding them.

If anyone know how to, then please help me with it. Also was wondering if its just client side, or both client and server.

Hi, you can use MsgName () with the request type 9 ()

Sorry forgot to mention, I'm using 5165 source NewestCoServer.

I don't know what that is, but you can send the MsgName packet with the request type 9 to the players you want to see the effect. Alternatively you can play it on an entity with request type 10.

Tried some code in the source, but it didn't respond.

So not sure if it's coding or it just on the client.

Do you mind sharing what you tried? Did you log the errors? Set some breakpoints?

What is your packet structure?

You Can from packet 1012 type 9 add it smooth
