So, what happend to conquer 3?

Somewhere inside me I still hope this project will be released soon by TQ, can someone put me out of misery?

It has been rescheduled due to changing plans. They are currently reworking their SIII engine and making something new for Conquer Online 3.0 (which will supposedly be in 3D unless plans change again). They announced that Conquer 2.0 will not merge into Conquer 3.0, so it might be that they're planning a Conquer 2D and Conquer 3D pair. They are also supposedly working with EA on the engine, so we'll see what happens.

Hmm so if it's going in 3D it could become something like WoW right?

That's too bad, haha I dislike them types of games, I guess that's why I could play LoL for about a year aswell it's viewed from above just like CO is and that's the type of game I like.
We'll see what happends indeed, I hope for something I enjoy playing aswell haha.

There's still a high possibility that it'll be a fixed screen angle (same angle as before, just that the scenery moves around in a more fluid, 3D like way). If someone wants to tell me what game I'm thinking of that does this, that'd be great.

Hahaha that made me laugh, obviously not like WoW, or anything close to it. Was referring to the way the camera moves around and views from.

No. They (TQ) have stated several times that they will be transitioning the current Conquer Online 2.0 into 3.0. I don't know where all these dumbass rumors about 3.0 being in 3D and whatnot started, maybe it's from all the 3D fan art that has been created, but there has been sure as hell no official statements that even hinted at that.

And the tools I've released have references to Conquer 3.0 as a 3D game, and the videos we watched were all Conquer 3.0 models and buildings (all 3D). I mean, we would be wrong, but I see no harm in guesswork. Nobody knows for sure besides the developers.
