CO2 USERS! SOMETHING MUST BE DONE ABOUT MODERATORS!

No disrespect intended on any level, but what in the hell kind of selection process do you use?

I'm all for kinshi being mod, but you completely overlook both Korvacs and I, and I'd like to know why.

Whomever they may be, they are not doing their job; as far as I know, moderators are supposed to be ACTIVE. Sitting and idling silently behind the name is not being active. I see none of the millions of useless threads being locked/deleted. We are doing our job, which is to moderate reported threads and to check up on threads requesting approval. I sometimes browse threads and see people requesting close, if they want a thread to be closed, deleted, overlooked etc it needs to be reported we can not just look at every thread everytime we login to epvp.

As to your comment again lowfyr, i don't think there would be as such a selection process, More of a selection of the most suitable/reliable from history. Kinishi is a very active epvp member, i see more activity from him then you, don't get defensive for not being chosen and there will be another moderator promotion in a few weeks. So be patient and you may get it.

No, I don't think you quite get it.


Korvacs and I BOTH applied before you and are BOTH just as good as you are, and yet Lowfyr COMPLETELY ignores BOTH of our applications, looks at yours, which has been there less than half as long, accepts you, and says not a **** thing to either of us. That's the point I made, is that he acts like you're the only one semi-qualified that even applied.

no need to get angry if you haven't be chosen as the first new co2 moderator, if you have no self-control you shouldn't applicate for a moderator position, this ability is required.

Kinshi just got less negative points and more positive points on his application, and there is also no "first come, first serve" rule for moderator applications.

We've also not overlooked or ignored any application. Also the lenght of a application doesn't matter, we just need the answers of our pre-defined questions, no story.

If you still applicate for a moderator you should also show some teamwork instead of complaining that we've chosen kenshi as a new moderator.

First: I'm not angry, I was looking for an answer. It was obvious you didn't even look at our applications, let alone consider them, which is pure disrespect to me.

Second: I've received 13 "positive" responses, two from moderators. The two negative responses I have have ZERO justification, even when I asked for a bit more of a reason as to why one said no, and the other is basing information totally out of skepticism, not fact. Kinshi, however, got 10. 13 - 2 is 11, so in the end I do come out above him in a positive less negative situation.

Third: You obviously have. If you took the time to read and count each post individually, you'd realize you literally JUST told me, as you said, 'more positive points on his application' shows me you took no real time to consider the application I put in. I did not say mine was better, and I made no claim to 'size is what matters'. Where you get this from, I don't know. I did answer your questions, but I took it out of the box and showed the kind of serious dedication and time I'm willing to spend to fix this mess. This, to any admin, SHOULD matter. I did not give stories, I gave examples to back each reply.

Fourth: I'm showing teamwork, doing the best I can. I am not complaining that kinshi was 'chosen' for moderator, as I already made apparent, I just want this section to change. Yes, I'd like to be a part of that, and considering you ignored/overlooked that desire for change, I feel I must make it VERY apparent that you have done so.


Anyway Lowfyr, so sorry that I have to call you out on all of this, I do not mean any disrespect but I will not be lied to directly to my face.
I just ask you to actually admit as to why you overlooked I/Korvacs' applications, that is all.

I dont really understand your decision making process, you picked someone who lacks any experience at moderating and has overall (no offence to Kinshi) less knowledge about the game. The only real big plus point is that they visit daily, which me and andy both do aswell.

Its got to the point where ive started to report posts and topics that need action because theres no one to do it.

My point being that even tho there is still a moderator position available, we have lost quite possibly a position that could have gone to someone more knowledgeable and more experienced. Which weakens the moderator team, does it not?

direspect? because we let your application open for the next moderator invite? Any decision is made by the epvp administration, not by myself.

moderator invites are done by the administration, not from members or moderators. Those replies doesn't count that much.

that was just a sidenote, the lenght or the date of the application post doesn't matter.
