[Off Topic]Google Crome =P

I know this has nothing to do with Conquer, but, I love all my Conquer buddies so I'm putting this here =P

Anyone currently using Google Crome? The new browser from Google.

What do you guys think of it? I'm testing it out right now, and its using less Memory and CPU than Firefox, and it seems fast. But I still love Firefox =P

Tell me what you guys think of it.

P.S.
If your using Internet Explorer, go kill youself =D

Yeah it's my new default. I saw it about a week ago...
What's strange is how it uses each tab as its own process, which is why its faster but also pretty much smarter..

+1 for you Google...

Also, you heard of Googles new phone?

ive got it as well, it takes up less space than other browsers i have tried (opera, firefox, IE7) only bad things i can think of are the new bookmark system and no mouse gestures i really liked mouse gestures on firefox and opera, so if anyone knows of an addon let me know

I gave it a try. It's good. I like the interface, etc. But it's still buggy.
(for example, scrolling up doesn't work with my laptop interface, which ****** me off).
I actually love Firefox, and I'll stick to it until Chrome is perfected.

Actually theres a 'Incognito Mode' which doesn't save history or anything

But what you can do is move the text box's...like this thing im typing it..i can change the size

also hold and drag the tab off the browser and it becomes a new browser..which is one up of the 'each tab has its own process' thing...

i really liked scrolling to but eh, its faster than FF...so i r sticking with it

Well, since I don't go to any websites like that, I'm not in any trouble am I?

And I'm still sticking with Firefox, just was trying Chrome.

Good for you.... sure it doesn't leave stuff on the computer but it still sends everything you type to the omnibar (was it called that?) to Google even if you don't hit enter to go to a site or for a search.

So far Chrome ain't worth it cos it's in so early stage. I read that they're planning to make Firefox addons compatible with Chrome. When that happens I might consider switching. Before that, no chance.

As a web developer I sigh cos it's just one more browser to worry about. >.<
At least it should be up to standards and not mess up sites too bad. Uses same engine as Safari.

maisum@
really less cpu usage?
i dont know, but on my laptop (P4 2.8Ghz 512ram), few tabs in chrome is still ok, but when i open up like 2 tabs with flash and if i add anymore, it eats up all my ram (250mb+)and lag so badly while i dont have trouble doing so with firefox (~150mb)
and if u are talking about a standard desktop with 1gb+ of rams and a basic cpu like dual core, website browser is not a problem as i tried with opening 50+ new browser (not tab) and no lag at all (test with playing CO)

other than Chrome open slightly faster when i double click the icon
and the interface, i dont care/like the rest features
PS* really hate the auto download features, it always starts to download random stuff when i browse chinese websites and forums

How does google figure out guesses to sites and search terms? It sends what you type to their servers and it most likely sends what you pick so it "learns" what to guess.
