CID proxy could a mod confirm this?

CO packets aren't plain text, so the way (if any, I'm not saying it's dirty) would be to send a chat packet through conquer to a character who was always logged in and block the reply packet (blah blah is offline etc) if the account is offline for some reason. Meaning unless you are able to decrypt co packets, keeping the counters correctly stored for use decrypting, which are based around the size of packets sent/received then you'd be out of luck.

let's say it is based on the chat commands like bananasplit, something as simple as blocking all the chats would prevent this, and if it sends password and accs to some ip something as simple as using a packetsniffer would be a way to find out if it really does send any info out.
But if as I said first would only be something like chat commands to drop items and such or anything based on another person sending a chat command to you to make you do anything then simply just block all chats.

Edit: Also I haven't checked his proxy or used it so I don't really know what sort of sneaky things it MIGHT have, not saying it does.

I use my own proxy and always will. Never trust anyone elses.

i am not so sure about blocking
i thought its disabling the text only, but in truth, the message will still arrive ur client
just like u have a bunch of spam in ur client
u disable chat
they are gone
u enable back
they appear again

one more noob question ,( im kinda desperate to use proxy cose we cant use older client after 5016 without proxy:\ ), if i use it for a while and THEN change my password and dont use proxy anymore , can i be sure my account is secure? i just want to level my char and then leave proxy thing alone and feel safe again. Also i can change my passwor after every game sesion , does it make me 100pc safe?

if the proxy is waiting for a command to drop the item such as bananasplit you wont know about it until you receive it and even then the proxy itself could simply refuse to send that packet to the client and then you would never even know why u dropped your gear or who did it to you.

personally i think the proxy should be banned but thats only because of the aimbot. the other features can come in really handy and i would love to see it confirmed as clean not just guessing its clean.

surely you can release the source code to someone from the epvp community that is trusted.

When will people stop going on about this? It's down to the creators to decide if they wish to release the source or not, personally I don't release source to my programs as people have tried to claim as their own on a few occasions even leaving my name in there!

If the source was released then someone would need to be found who could both be trusted and understand what they were reading, if the variables / functions in source were obscurly named the person checking would have to concentrate a lot on remembering or going back and forth checking.

For example password could be stored in a variable called: abfsvfdbh and sent by function: grafdjs

At the end of the day if people don't trust it, then don't use it. The fact that it has ads on is an incentive for the creators to not hack people using it as it's a source of income.

Finally I use my own (private) proxy when I play, though I haven't played in a few months and only use other proxies very rarely to test on low level characters.

It was never decompiled or checked, the only person to have seen the source is the author.
I'm getting really tired of Hiyoal claiming things he doesn't know anything about or that are simply not true.
If he reads this I'll probably get another emo reply -_-
