a way to change apperance of elite/super items as they're dropped?

i was wondering if anyone knew a way to change the look of elite/ super items as they're dropped while your hunting and whatnot. like change the look of the item. i was told there use to be a one that changed the look to a christmas present so it was basically impossible to miss.

if anyone knows anything, please let me know.

You can still do it but only with weapons. They are different ids while on ground but non weapons are determined on loot.

hey why itemtype doesnt work on all gears ?

Bcouse now all items on the ground is normal(except weapons) and only when u pick it up then server send u packet and said what item u got. It can be normal or maybe super !

Becouse the client needs to know wenether its a super, elite, unique or refined weapon, to know whenether to show a super, elite, unique, refined or Normal on the ground.

You dont have that issue with rest of the items, as its only one ground texture per item, meaning, the client have no need for the info before after you have picked it up.
