Remote commands have good uses as well, I use them for retreiving stats whilst I'm away, also...if he's giving the source to a1 he should varify that it is clean.

Keeping in mind that giving a source to a mod doesnt really mean anything unless its the mod that builds it and posts it.
Anyone could make a hack with a virus coded in it, and send a "Clean" source to whoever wanted to check it.
Not saying that MrGenious would, im just saying in general sending source to a mod can be useless. The end user should always run their own checks.

Well thats why there is a Topic Queue for the CO2 release sections.
It allows me to look over, by scanning first then trying to decompile and look over the resulting source code to find anything suspicious.
I've stop many a keylogger already and banned the persons who tried to post it, before it was even released on the general members. Have also stopped a couple of back-doored proxies and one rootkit installer.
But a source file submitted to me would help out in showing the posters good intentions.

That being said though it doesn't mean that the uploaded file, either as file attachment or link to a download site wouldn't or couldn't be changed later to a malicious file instead of what was first submitted.

I'll admit that I was even hacked once already from testing uploaded files here.

Unlike the other MODS here I have the ability of instant banning and looking at IP addresses of members without asking the Administration staff.

I wasn't intending to say giving the source would mean the program was definatly clean, just that it makes it easier to look over and compare to a version you build yourself.

if I would put a drop command I woldn't be stupid enough to give the source to a mod before releasing. And I made the path thing before I came up with teleport without dcing. And Iliveoncaffeine, I know you need a manifest I've already done that. And this will be postponed till christmas starts. And the remote commands was for own personal purposes "learning". I made remote commands in Java/VB and c# (for learning causes). Yes this proxy has it added, as follow, bas lvler, as lvler, serp lvler, and so on but if I will be releasing the remote commands then it will be set with every user deciding their special password for using it which they will type in a password.txt file.

And vertigo what do you mean mass developed project? I have never used her proxy so I dunno how her proxy is. If you mean other additional stuff added except the proxy iteself, then no I don't make graphics or whatever you ment. Sorry lol really don't understand what you mean with search-to-find tool, sure search it and find it and use it as a tool?

And iliveoncaffeine it is def not even close to the original qoproxy if you mean by original the one made like 3-4 years ago.
I could PM you a bunch of things it does but I don't want to say that publicly atleast not yet. Alot of it is about lvling chars and making money since that is what I needed to get full2sock. Oh and so everyone knows it does NOT have Autonadoer nor aimbot. Why? The answer to that is.. first of all I Gw clean, no aimbots no speed no teleport not even logged on proxy (even though my char and items are made with dirty money lol). And for the nadoing part I don't even have a tao. I had one but don't now.
If this will be requested by alot of "trusted" people then I might add it since it is extremly easy to add. If this is asked by 5 post people I won't even consider it.

No one has to be afraid of any backdoors or viruses sending clean or dropcommands. To make this REALLY sure. I will send both SOURCE and the .exe and everything included to not just 1 trusted but a few trusted for them all to check it. Once it's accepted by ALL of them and by accepted I mean that they say atleast "well I can't find anything" or something like that. THEN it will be added. I can't do better then that.

Edit: Real Death yes you can run it like java -server QOProxy but as I said in some early posts the whole point of making .jar then #J then .net was to make it as hardcracked as possible.
Has to do with noobs, nothing is uncrackable to a good programmer.

How would that prevent them from still accessing the site? Im not going to give any ideas on how to but if someone can put a backdoor on a proxy by himself or make a virus then I'm sure he knows how to first of all prevent from being banned (using proxy and misleading you with a fake ip) or by doing it afterwards.

Ok There is 1 big thing aswell. Since you have prolly understood by now I don't like noobs (People who leech, not talking about people that don't have the programming skills... YET)
I might be releasing it without telling anyone what the commands are. That way only thoose people who can open it and see the commands could use it.
I have numerous reasons for that. One of them is people who want to leech wont be able to leech, it will be like a file absolutley usless untill they learn commands by someone who knows.
Another reason is thoose who want it have to learn some stuff and work a bit to get some profit.
BUT I might just release it and put a big list of commands. Let's just see, cause I'm not sure yet.

I never said they were not supposed to be able to do this themselves, It is just for studdy purposes for even themselves as myself. I made it mostly to learn not to get full2ock BUT yes I still did get a profit ingame. It's not supposed to be used rlly as a tool for noobs.

Edit: Also being able to crack doesn't mean you have to know how to program it could be that you know how to program but it could also mean that you work for something that you want, forexample you could google and learn specificly about how to crack that type of .exe or whatever it will be now.

... i dont know if u should release telport to every1 be better if u could make it more "private" or it would be patched in like 3 days of all the teleporting

By mass-developed, i mean with loads of support from everyone. Not 1-post leechers Just thinking it would be better with JUST the standalone proxy. No added **** like maps etc

Also, my view on your command debate would be to mention some commands and allow people to work a few out for themselves (the ones you decide would be publicly 'harmful' such as bassie leveller perhaps, or other ones that would be a pain for a lot of people if everyone was using them) , queens proxy had a few of these in, though mainly they were ones that people would not really use which I couldn't get working right anyway

And aimbot..I personally think is a bad idea, however it's down to how you feel about them that should decide whether you release them or not...I play on an archer usually so trojans kill me in 1 herc anyway. Speed hacks I have no problem with when they are used for getting around quicker...slightly annoying in pvp, but like i said I play an archer so whatever

It'll be interessting to find out what you have included in your proxy, but I can wait ^^ (Mine only has a few little things).

Sure alot of support and can be pinned no problem. But I really have to think about if to release with commands and things or make it hard and so on. I haven't really thought of it much. If I would release without commands someone would probabley just figure it out and tell everyone.

Me is thinking post the useful ones, like the ones which came with V3N0M - autoloot/hunt etc.

I would still mention a few, as the thing is useless without them. Just because i posted about some secret commands in the official *old* venom thread i got spammemd with PMs about them! Only release the really good codes to those of your choice
