your doing it wrong, go in layers and look at the alpha layer.. thats where your running into your problem

only you would see, its client sided edits.

errm i dont get it, go into alpha layers and change it there? cuz i did that and it did the same thing
this is a really helpful guide im getting to understand the editing of effects, but im not able to do the armours and robes >.< thats the stuff i wanted to do most. any tips on editing the robes?

dont save armors and stuff under explisit alpha or they'll come out transperant if thats your problem, other wise if ur tryin 2 put pics on there just go into paint and highlight and copy it, then when u paste it into the file, right click on the layer and click "free transform" u can ajust the size, and there will b a check mark on the top corner, click on that or it wont finish, but neway, thats what i can help you with

download the WDF extractor into you CO2 file, duble click the wdfbatcher, let it do its job.
o yea.. forgot the add; right click the wdf extract and click extract here

How to view & edit .dds files without Photoshop 06/27/2011 - CO2 Weapon, Armor, Effects & Interface edits - 15 Replies A lot of people out there depend on Photoshop to edit .dds files. I couldn't use Photoshop.
Instead, I used GIMP. It's free, and you can view, edit and convert .dds files in it.
2 things are needed:
1) Gimp
The download link for the current version is here.
2) .dds plugin for Gimp (this is used so Gimp can access .dds files). The current version is here.
