Step 1. Download the files
Step 2. Unzip the files
Step 3. Open the directory where you have installed Conquer 2.0
Step 4. Go to c3/textures
Step 5. Place the .dds of the right color that you want it to become.

003132900.dds is the original file,
if you want to apply this mod on other textures rename the 003132900.dds into:

003132800 - for purple
003132700 - gold one
003132600 - dark blue
003132500 - red
003132400 - greenish blue
003132300 - brown
003132200 - black one

Step 6. This might be of help , it extracts all the .dds's into the /texture map
