My progress so far converting this source to fit a 4267 client, along with additions, edits, and the like.

The password encryption seems to have changed somewhere between 5165 and 5250 and I need to update it to work.

try find a 5250 source and look at its encryption.

is the way this npc system in this source good and fast?
or would it be better to do it all in c#?

Changes at patch 5172(Maybe 5173) one of those.

It's just an extra RC5 Layer and a new packet.

Both released. the extra RC5 Layer is released in the programming section with the title [Help] Password decryption or something like that and the authseed packet is just a int send from server->client.

Both can be found in project Exodus.

I know and I've been using Exodus as reference but as I don't have any real programming experience or knowledge so I'm unable to implement it.

This might be a stupid question, but do I need to compile the NPC Scripts somewhere, or I just copy the file, change name and then code in it, so it's like LUA?
