Discussion on [Tiny-Release] Buying Attribute Points! 5165 Source... within the CO2 PServer Guides & Releases forum part of the CO2 Private Server category.
lol im a newb I know...I have tested this already and it works on my server "Fine"...I'll try and learn more C# on the way okay?
It cant possibly work fine on your server, you never send the updated values to the client, how can it possibly work fine if the client never finds out that these values have changed?

Your code updates the attribute value on the server, but it never tells the client that the value has changed.

He didnt even try the npc, and ya know why? Because it isnt his, anyone planning to release something should atleast test it to see if it functions as intended.
How many people are going to reply now saying that it doesnt work i wonder?

Like I say in my topics..."THE CODE IS NOT MINE IT'S FROM 4BOTTERS" did you see that part? And yea I can't code for **** but does it mean you have to go ape on me for just a code I'm trying on?...
Ah, the 5165 source sends packets on setting the value iin character.cs, sorry i never expected a lotf source to be even remotely intelligent.
I wasnt going ape at you, it appeared as though you had released something that didnt work, which causes problems, no release is better than a broken release.

If you don't like the way I code or try simply just don't read my topic bro...with all due respect I'm the newb trying here and I don't want more problems on top of my head...

Well this one does NOT cause a problem which makes it a better release than not a release...because I have it in my server now doing what I told u...
You never send the client the updated Attribute points, so as far as the client is concerned, nothing happens.
You need to test your code before you release it, or atleast read it.
Your second if statement should just simply be an else statement.
Korv in the source it doesn't do updates like the original lotf.
It would be great to know the source before you go tell him what is and whats not happening.
