Go into your Config.ini in the OldCODB folder and make sure your GameServerIP=<ip> is your external ip...if you use your internal one or 127.0.0.1 it will cause the client to close on you for some reason....Also make sure you forward port 5816.

I went on TV with Chidori and everything they did was right but the server still would not start up.
Does this source not work on certain computers?

Are they using Windows Vista/Windows 7? Are they running on a 64bit OS?

I know that Chidori is running on a Windows 7 32 bit.
That's all I know though.

When you build the source you need to make sure it is built in 32bit mode, otherwise the OpenSSL .dll being used for the encryption wont work and the server will fail to start.
Edit: If they are running Windows 7 the OpenSSL .dll being used may have to be rebuilt while in Windows 7. Although ive not looked this up, but since you have tried everything else you might want to consider that.

I'm also running Windows 7 (32-bit)..I was able to run without compiling the first time I got a hold of the source so I don't think the OpenSSL.dll is the case unless he picked the wrong build option instead of 32-bit on accident when he compiled. I know it won't let open for me if I don't run as administrator, other then that I have no idea either :/

Is the folder "OldCODB" in your C:/ Drive?
Or where ever your ConquerPath is located.
