For your first error i think your running the cs proj file in the wrong version of c#.... try downloadign the other version...

your 2nd error... well i think that might be a problem with vista... have you tried running as administrator?

In Database.cs press "ctrl + g" and go down to line 39.. and change the "Database_User" to the username your specified in mysql... usually root

@chris101, your using 2008, it has a high security feature and declarations similar don't go well and show up as errors you need to rename it for throughout the project Map/Maps on 2008 for it to work.

You had to login using a password and the first time you login it saves it to the database.

I am wondering is it possilbe to run the server via ftp web site ? like if i made web site made a login page then brought it to the like admin page start the server and run it off the ip of the web server?

I got a problem with the 'build > build solution'...

I cannot build it 'cause my visual express found some weird errors there;

** 'Map' Conflicts with the declaration 'COServer.map' **
In PacketHandler.cs - line 511 / column 68

** 'A local variable named 'Map' cannot be declared in this scope because it would give a different meaning to 'Map', which is already used in a 'parent or current scope to denote something else' **
In PacketHandler.cs - line 521 / column 64

well thx for the help but the problem is that i dont have a "Real" windows xp installed.. and becoz of that i can install service pack 2 and becoz of that i can install c++ :S Maybe anyone could build a solution for me? database= root password= samsung and the other thing is conquer_server

which version are you using cuase i had 2008 c# it didnt work so make sure your using 2005 c#

Okays, I builded solution it succesfully with the 2005 version... But it still cannot connect to the database and just closes after that >
"at COServer.Database.ConnectDatabase() in E:\Servers\Conquer Servers\Visual Studio 2005\CoFuture_Release\Server\Database.cs:line 45"
"Could not connect to the database with that username/password combination"
*Database Connection: succesfull* < What does that really mean?

After that just closes itself and that "send - don't send" window appears.
