Meteora Online [5017]

Meteora Online? Wtf is that?...

WELL LET ME YOU NAH!:

Meteora Online is a project by me who is the Development Team founder of MeteoraDev (Don't check me out, I suck). The server isn't too custom because I wanted to create a "Conquer-feel" to it. It's basically got everything that Conquer Online had as a 5017 except I added a way to get CPs without donating. Now let me tell you about some of our details..

Day 1 - DETAILS...
Stability: I'm actually fairly impressed, it seems pretty damn stable!

Players Online: I kicked everyone out from before so it's a fresh server =^-^=

Server Time: It's actually sort of mixed. I don't run events unless I'm the only one on and I accept staff from different parts of the world. Mainly however, it's -8[GMT].

Location of Host: It's HOSTED in Germany, however my server is 100% English. You are not required to know English to play, however to participate actively in the forums and chatbox you do.

Client Version: 5017 Final; I will not be patching this client anymore, it's final. You may add your own edits as you see fit but I will not patch it anymore.

Source: My server is based off of the LOTF source.

Server Stage: Good to go! We are out of Beta! Green light!

Recruitment: I am recruiting for GMs, Chatbox Mods, PH, SH, Website Designer/Developer and that's about it.

What happened to taos?

tbh 5017 is so old. If someone signs on msn and that little window pops up. You see a pic of somthing u were doing on co like 3 secs ago.

Nah I got banned long time ago. My other account was "pranay34". Some idiot named .Mio gave me alot of warnings for telling the server owner some true facts. "Your ******* server is ****".

Most of the LOTF sources don't come with Mana so I disabled Taos as a Temp solution. I'm proud to say that I added Mana and fixed the skills all on my own ^.^ Same with Stamina! I learned I could do a lot more than I thought.

I know that 5017 is old and tbh I didn't think I'd like it too much but after coding with the LOTF system and playing my server for a bit I actually really like the 5017 style

Just an advice. Try using 5035. It's the same style but better fonts and client

I really like 5017 too black ^^
AstaCo and BattleOfTheChampions both are based on LOTF.

Usually using later clients will give more stability, because some patches are either client bug fixes or new updates, not saying it's bad to use an older client or whatever, just saying it can give less problems, thought it depends on what you're having in the server etc.

What source and client you want to use. All up to the owner.
but truly, all sources and different kind of clients has advantages and disadvantages.
bugs and fixes here and there.

Never know for sure before someone tells you, or you experience yourself.

But can still make a 5017 very good, > AstaCo <
So much is possible! xD

still lot of things to fix:
- no effect for Cure spell
- my BS gone when i try to lv up at Artisan in TC ..

- mets gone when i try to make a scroll

- items are dropped on impossible to take zone (rocks, plants ...etc)
