Programing Questions(duh)

Ok, I've been thinking of making a PS of Conquer Online, I'm making it very much like normal TQ Conquer, but with a little bit of exp rates, better chances of good drops and cp bag drops so people can make their gear. Unfortunately I have no experience in programing and making PS's at all. If there is any guide with some basics it would be much apreciated if I could get a link, now on with the questions.

1st Question:- How can I disable auto patching for a the real conquer client. I know PS made clients exist(Qonquer, PowerSourceCo, etc...), but they all blow. I know how to make the PS already, I just need a client, so I'm taking CO's client with old patches.

2nd Question:- How can I add NPC's and add them functions?

3rd Question:- How can I edit monsters so they can have better drops and add drops(like cp bags)?

4rd Question:- How can I add items into the database successfully.


These are all the questions I have for now, I may come with more in some time.


BTW, I'm using

No, I'm simply asking how is this done, if it was saying that I would be indicating where and what I would be doing this. I need help with this so please don't post if what you're speaking has nothing to do with what I am asking. If you do know how to answer some of these questions it would really help. I want to learn how to do these things because I'm running a PS and it would need improvement, thus I need some core knowledge so I can change things to make it better.

Your questions are extremely blunt... You are not asking for help with how you should code something or help with a line or 2 of code not working.

You are asking for basically steps on how to do something. So again, you are basically saying "DO THIS FOR ME NOW!".

Again no one is going to help you. One less private server hosted by someone that doesn't know anything about programming.

But the point he is getting to is that you need to learn on your own.
My best suggestion is use the search button it wont steer you wrong.

Second you need to analyze some code for yourself probably 95% of CO P servers are programmed in C#.
This is a very easy language to learn once you get the hang of it.
So go download some sources and look threw the source files.

Please DON'T use lotf sources though.
Although these sources work, a lot of them are just programmed very poorly.

I would say, to start use one of hybrids basic sources.

And remember the "SEARCH" button will be more useful than the "New Thread" button.

If you start a new thread all that will happen is you get ******** that flame you...

Also, what does the source coding have to do with client coding, because its the client I want to change, I already have a source, although I haven't tested it yet. If I had to change something from my client would it use the same C# language as a PS source? Or when you say source you actually mean clients(doubtful).

I'm starting by reading some information about C# as a starter so I can have some knowledge about what I'm going to do and when what I open is in C# language. I'd be nice if you could give me a couple of links of those source downloads you told me to dl, if not I'll just look it up myself.
