Request/Questions on help decripting packets

Hi, I recently finished writing a packet sniffer program and am able to sniff the conquer packets, id now like to learn how to decrypt (& modify?) and encrypt packets for sending to the conquer servers.

So, firstly, is tutorial still up-to-date? I realize that the most recent posts where back in July 2005.
And secondly, is there anyone out there willing to help teach me these things? Im still fairly new to this region of programming, but could follow that above tutorial without to much trouble.

Thanks,
Origonal

If it's from 2005, it's way out of date.
Due the the enormous amount of hacks, TQ updated their encryption protocol at patch 5018.

If you wanna get the job done, is how you'll do it.

Hello, I am new on this forum, so greetings to u all. I have a question about the packets sniffed by WPE. While capturing packets i noticed that there is a difference between 2 packets who do the same action For example : say Hello first time : 19 2A 53 D4 4C 98 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 68 65 6C 6C 6F 00 say Hello second time : E9 06 CF 12 C4 35 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 68 65 6C 6C 6F 00

Hey guys.. After spending the better part of 2 hours searching the forum and running into alot of broken links. I give up. I want to be able to edit the Monster.dat file and make lab monsters invisible as well as others such as basilisks. So i can work on some archer macros. There was a tool called DeEn.exe that i have read alot about but like i said.. kept running into broken links to get it. So any help with this i would furthur my progress in an archer macro. Thanks guys.
