Give ONE valid reason why C# cannot run a proper server. The fact is you've offered no valid reasons so far. YES the released C# sources that most people use. Take a look at hybrids, finish it to a point worth using and then say it's not stable... hybrids, immune's and impulse all released rather well coded, stable bases for people to use.

C# is not ideal but it's far from unusable.

The socket classes work just fine (async + intelligent use of system resources as well as thread management and you should be perfectly fine)

Ive got a private server source here that i can run indefinately. The problem isnt the language, the problem is your implementation of the language, and the limitations of your implementation of it. If your not smart enough to safeguard against an overload of packets, then thats a fault with your implementation, not the languages.

Afaik, AcidCO didn't have a packet size check for auth, so you could send a buffer with 1 byte, and after a while it eventually crashed. Again, this is what I heard.
