Server Maintenance... (HELP!) 5165

Hi there, i have set up my own server, i have checked all my ip address and everything is in the right place, i have run the server, done the /newacc test 1234 thing and then loaded a 5165 client i KNOW works, then went to log in, i entered my details EXACTLY as i had put them in the server console and the screen goes black with the 2 dragon things at the side but no loading bar in the middle. EVENTUALLY it looks like it is going to load for a second, then comes up with server maintenance or network congested!

I have tried everything to fix this and have even had a friend who is sucessfully running his own server to take a look at it on teamviewer, but he cant figure out what it is either.

Are there any ports that i need to forward on my router? or any firewall exceptions i need to add? please help me out

Yes, you need to forward ports 9958, 5816 and 5817. Those last two I'm not very sure about. I know its one or the other.

That still isnt working, I dont have a static IP tho, only a dynamic IP, would this make a difference? if so, how do i solve the problem please?
