Short answer: No

Long answer: Not without MASSIVE modification. Fairly sure that any interface changes will be built into the actual client exe. Changing that exe will also change the encryption and key meaning you would need to update the source to a new encryption. That would also change packets and everything meaning you would be running the latest patch anyways.

So No: If you want the feature just upgrade to the latest patch.

Korvaks has been updating the wiki with some of the new packets. That will prob help you out alot.

What patch did the changes take place in? :O

5250 i dont know I Like new future xD and sub clases nice xD but i am using coemu 5095 version so it will by hard tu update but it best and most stabel source araund xD

Yah he's been updating the packets for 5220+ on the wiki so it shouldn't be too difficult... at least when comparing it to versions that don't have alot of documentation.

Coemu will be as easy as any other source to update really... But if you're going to put that much work into updating a source you may be better off using Hybrids 5017 source and update it. It will be alot better in the long run when comparing it to coemu.
