A fair server location (East Coast US works best) Dedicated/VPS
A fair amount of custom quests with decent rewards
Pk in TC, no Socketing/2 Socketing NPC
Maybe a couple of custom tournaments
GW is turned in Daily instead of the weekend for like 2 hours at 16:00 EST
No nobility (If patch = 5065+)
All spells working (Or atleast the main ones)
Either have only 1st rb or both 1st & 2nd, NO 3rd or higher stuff
As for Potency, either have it or lose it - If your rates are fair this won't be a problem
Fixed FB/SS algorithms and stamina (TQs) prefered - Not necessary
Old jump should be used on p-servers more, new jump is horrible
Anyone who disobeys a set list rules = A warning, 2 warnings = ban... fair.
And last but surely not least, NO TALISMANS! Who wants to see trojans zapping for more than a fire/water anyway?
That's my opinion of a good p-server (Lvling)
Alot of people think that a P-server is all about custom thing's, the latest patches etc. I definately don't agree with that mostly what I look for is a server where me & my friends get decent/playable ping, has a nice population, donation system isnt overpowering and lvling rates aren't extremely slow then i'd play it, i'd prefer fixed fb/ss algorithms and stamina but isn't totally necessary.

If you want to make a really good server with balanced classes i'd suggest giving the water healing spells a 3* heal boost (adv cure = 1500, 1800, 2100, 2400, 2700)

I wouldn't say Ninja's are all bad, a new class could've been what CO needed, the class itself was a nice addition but TQ went overboard on there spells and made them too overpowered.
i like pservers where it takes months till u got good stuffs not like the others where u play 1 day - 1 week and ur full 2 sock thats boring and it should have many exciting events

Thanks =) I describe not just what I want but what every friend I know from CO and hopefully I speak for everyone else too when I say that my beliefs of what a server should be like is spot on.

Well Binary is the closest thing to CO and alot of people like CO how it was with 5065 patch but don't like what TQ has done after that, I don't agree that binary is a good server to run but it's damn sure the easiest/closest to real CO which is why most people go for it.
What I think people want is this:
A p-server that they are guaranteed that it will stay up and keep the player demands a number 1 priority.
I don't see ANY p-servers that fit just those points, obviously a p-server that guarantees it will stay up is near-impossible but someday there will be, Qonquer has been up for 3 years? Coming up 4 I think and if it wasn't for it being ran too much like TQ i'd play it full time. Everyone wants a P-server that they can stick to and bring there friends along with them, a secure (good uptime) and well hosted with decent coder(s) running it is a great start.
The worst thing a server can be is repeatative and a high rate server is exactly that, be unique and do something you'll be recognised for if you want respect and a good community!
