How do I remove reset trader window

Hey guys,
I'm stuck on this one and hope I might find some help here. I'm trying to remove the merchant window that appears when you login. It looks like this:



I'm using an old source I was given called OldCoDB using the 5165 client.

As I see it you have 4 options to get rid of that window.
1. Completely remove the window in Conquer.exe.
2. Make everyone a merchant by sending a 255 value (you can google which packet you need).
3. Remove/hide the window in GUI.ini
4. Delete the source and don't bother with a Conquer private server.

Step 4 is the easiest though...

Haha thanks for the reply turk, I've already tried option 2. I'm not sure how to go about editing the exe though but I would be interested in doing that. As for option 3 I have no idea where to locate that particular window..

it's done through the sync/update packet (10017) with the update type being
38.

Sorry for such a late reply. I tried the few things advised. Changing the packet meant having that annoying equipment lock window constantly as item lock isn't implemented. I'm not familiar with editing the conquer.exe though I have spent the past few days trying to figure it out with no luck, scouring these forums and google. I also tried the GUI.ini option yet have no idea where to look inside there.
If anyone has information I would be extremely grateful as I'm only doing this to learn and it's frustrating when I can't get anywhere by myself so I appreciate anything. Thanks!
