I've started since 2 days earlier working on converting conqueremu version 2 to patch 5156, as I do not like the source 'NewestCOServer'.
So what's your opinion on this, should I release it or not? And on what basic features should I release it? What should I implement ? Do you like conqueremu yourself?
While I agree that alot of the noobs are going to not really appreciate it, it would really help the community some.
Seriously... everyone is going crazy for the new lotf source which is just soooo bad. I bet if alot of the newcomers had a current, decently coded alternative then we would have alot more people using it.
Or maybe that's just me really wanting ppl to ditch lotf :P
If you wanna release it, it is totally up to you.
Me myself wouldn't release something because other people would take credit for it.
They would perhaps rename some of the files within the folders of which you released and take credit for your work.
My opinion is you shouldn't release it.
Anyways, not that much people work with coemu anymore because 5165 source was released, coemu is old just like source 5017, they are dusty and old, lol.

Yahh but you have to realize. If there was a similar patch version of CoEmu that people could use instead of the horrrriibblleee lotf one. You can be sure alot of the nubs would switch themselves over (or at least the ones who can fathom just how annoyingly bad lotf is)

in my opinion release it but not fully coded i need dat but iam tryin to learn how to code a emu so i kinda want 5156 but i wonna add npcs quest and dat other stuff my self
Whats the point of releasing it? You'll get 5 thanks and then some other guy is going to take it and release it on 15 other forums claming it's his.
That is not the point of a forum... This is exactly the mentality that puts the section in nothing but a depressed state... Whether he gets 100 thanks or 10, he's done his part to contribute towards this community, these are community projects, so lets develop it together.

Solution: Put "pipeClient.dll" and "packet.dll" to Shaiya Packet Bot v1023 folder

To use it you inject melee.dll with winject.exe into your running process of Conquer.exe. Then inside your chat box in your conquer client you use the following commands...
/melee -- starts attacking monsters
/melee off -- stops attacking monsters
/loot <itemID1> <itemID2> ... -- loots items (refer to itemtype.txt for item IDs)
