CO Private Server suggestions

Hello fellow ePVPers!

I am looking for suggestions on running a PServer. I have been working on a private source for quite a long time and I want to somewhat follow in the steps of what PlayConquer has done (aka stability, as few bugs as possible, cross-server, all events, spawns, quests, etc)

Given this information, I am looking for suggestions on how I could make a server that is different/better than PlayConquer (and other similar servers) have achieved.

So far, I was thinking perhaps less play-to-win (such as no vip auto-hunt but still have CP drops), but quests, events, etc along the same lines. I am welcome to any and all suggestions.

I will post a full draft of what I am looking to create soon - but it will take a few days depending on how busy I am :|.

I think obviously what you listed as far as stability and full implementation are key. Imo something difficult to keep players working. If it's too easy I think players lose interest quickly.

And obviously custom (though not game breaking) and new content.

Everyone has their own taste of how they enjoy playing co. You, as an admin, have to do your best to give players what they want.

PvE servers are not as popular as it was back then. Now 90% of the CO2PS community are Egyptians/Filipinos that are interested in 5k CPs drops. They don't care about stability/customization, they care about the rates and the events. Mostly a PvP server.

Yeah, that's what I've gathered. It seems most of the popular servers strive to have a balance in terms of drops/progression. Most egy servers just seem to offer 5k-100k CP drops everywhere. They mostly have a 'get fully geared quick, pvp for a few days then quit' kind of thing going on.

That's not really what I've seen. PVP servers are somewhat popular for a short time then die out. However "good" PVE/PVP servers that offer progression/new content seem to last much much longer.
