He's not asking how to do it.
He's asking where to place it.

You need to place it where a perminately running thread will access it. Otherwise it wont be checked at the right time and nothing will happen.

A good place for you to put it would be after the main thread has loaded everything.

Personally i would make a new thread entirelly to check all timers that i created.
